As opposed to other IPLs, successful results can often be accomplished in shorter, fewer treatments as a result of BBL’s technological advancements and customizable treatment parameters.

BBL therapy may also be helpful for recalcitrant acne, hair removal and skin tightening with infrared SkinTyte. Poikiloderma (blotchy red/brown sun damaged condition of neck / upper chest) and stria (stretch marks) are also effectively treated with BBL.

A 532 Epidermal Face Peel via our Spectra VRM Nd:Yag Laser provides photofacial-like results in only one or two treatments, but is associated with one to two days of healing “down-time”. Indications are also similar, but only skin types 1 and 2 are candidates.

Laser Resurfacing options may accomplish quicker, more dramatic results, but are associated with a variable amount of healing related downtime. Chemical peel options may also be associated with some minimal healing associated downtime. Neither affects vascular lesions (red spots, small visible blood vessels, etc.).

Photofacials, SkinTyte & Resurfacing can be combined to address multiple cosmetic concerns. Also, more effective lifting / tightening with Ultherapy ultrasound may be separately beneficial. Other adjunct procedures include Botox or Dysport (and Wrinkle Fillers).
