What is Microdermabrasion?

At our Las Vegas DermaSpa, Microdermabrasion is used to soften, smooth, and even out skin tone by exfoliating dead surface skin cells. Our diamond-tipped microdermabrasion wand removes impurities, promotes remodeling of collagen and elastin, plumps skin, reduces lines and scars, and improves overall appearance. Microdermabrasion is safe and effective, with no downtime or discomfort. Medical grade facial microdermabrasion takes 20-30 minutes or more.

What is Silk Peel (Dermal-Infusion)?

Silk Peel (aka Dermal-Infusion or Hydra-dermabrasion or hydrabrasion) combines microdermabrasion with dermal infusion. Dermal-infusion (Silk Peel) is an advanced skin-resurfacing treatment that combines exfoliation, extraction, and infusion of condition-specific serums to improve skin health, function, and appearance. A patented, non-invasive treatment, dermal-infusion (Silk Peel) is fully customizable and the perfect solution to address a wide variety of skin concerns and conditions from head-to-toe and is suitable for all skin types and tones.

One or a series of 3 to 6 treatments is recommended. After treatment, apply an SPF 30 or higher sunblock, especially if your skin is red and daily until any redness is gone.

Microdermabrasion contraindications are few, but include: active, inflammatory rosacea (of the proposed treatment site) and any very active, inflamed or sensitive skin rash or infection.
